for anyone who enjoys a real horror film, the hills have eyes is the best i’ve seen in a very, very long time. in fact, its a great movie for any genre. absolutely the most fun ive had in a theater since i dont know when. not to mention it is also beautifully shot and surprisingly intelligent. a healthy dose of gore and some really terrifying scenes make the movie truly memorable. we’re not talkin final destination 3 here either, hills is that kind of movie that gives back some street cred to the horror genre and reminds you how much of an effect a masterfully made scary movie can have on an audience.
disclaimer: take it from someone who doesnt scare easily, this movie will scare the shit out of you. of course, if that sounds appealing, i can’t recommend it enough

ps: i’ve noticed reviews havent been that great for this. wtf? anyway, don’t believe the hype, trust me—do it.
