i think i read something about anonymous bittorrenting, kids being arrested on college campuses or some horrible thing the mpaa tries to stop pirating almost everyday, but today, it hit home. here, in it’s entirety is the email i received today:

for anyone who enjoys a real horror film, the hills have eyes is the best i’ve seen in a very, very long time. in fact, its a great movie for any genre. absolutely the most fun ive had in a theater since i dont know when. not to mention it is also beautifully shot and surprisingly intelligent. a healthy dose of gore and some really terrifying scenes make the movie truly memorable. we’re not talkin final destination 3 here either, hills is that kind of movie that gives back some street cred to the horror genre and reminds you how much of an effect a masterfully made scary movie can have on an audience.
disclaimer: take it from someone who doesnt scare easily, this movie will scare the shit out of you. of course, if that sounds appealing, i can’t recommend it enough
ps: i’ve noticed reviews havent been that great for this. wtf? anyway, don’t believe the hype, trust me—do it.
