i knew it was a bad idea to watch event horizon alone in my house, at 2am, in the dark. i knew it was an especially bad idea to watch the crazy glimpse-of-hell scenes in slow motion (there’s some seriously bugged out shit in there). for those of you who have never seen the movie, let me preface this by noting that it is scary as fuck. there are more jumpy moments than the entire jurazzic park series. then sam neil starts wilding out and whoa.

anyway, afterwards i got up to go to the bathroom and saw flashing coming out of my housemates room…let’s just say i relieved myself long before i got to the toilet. there was a solid eight to ten second period where i thought it was all over, sam neil [and that mole] were coming for me, and i was doomed to live out eternity in an alternate dimension begot of pure chaos—pure evil. someone hold me.

turns out it was his midi controller. coincidence? i think not.
