this shit always happens to me…a month after i get a shuffle, they come out with the nanoos—practically smaller, longer battery, bigger drive, photos, a screen, click wheel…son of bitch, shit.
ps. this guy took one apart
i was impressed with myself the first time i used extrude in illustrator, obviously that aint shit compared to this
and if that’s not enough for you, look at this guy’s photorealistic illustrator works (notice the g-strider at the bottom—no relation)

i often walk away from a jarmusch movie wondering if i’m too dense to understand what just happened. i remember thinking a whole bunch of times during coffee & cigarettes that this was one big inside joke, and i was like, totally on the outside. i think it was those high school flashbacks that left me with a bit of a sour taste. broken flowers, on the other hand, is a considerably more accessible movie, and imho, a better one.
for fans of ground hog’s day ghost bustin ass (one point jarmusch) bill murray’s more recent roles flowers is all you could ask for. it’s crazy, but at this point bill murray can sit on a screen and do nothing and somehow make it entertaining, and even funny.
it took a minute for this one to sink in, but eventually the whole thing begins to make sense (well, not without the help of a rather brash fellow on imdb). even before you really “get it”, flowers is the kind of movie what will start to grow on you…little by little…until you give in and have pity sex with her—uhh. i definetely recommend, its subtle—but not so much that you’ll be too embarassed to go to lunch tomorrow cause you feel like such a n00b—clever, and reeks of bm (bill murray).
seriously, why did everyone talk shit when the last two matrix movies came out? i’ll admit, they’re not quite the first one, but how could they ever be? the first matrix was so mind-bogglingly revolutionary that no sequel could have that amount of shock value.
that said, the sequels are both incredible movies that stand on their own. the second one has the craziest car chase ever filmed, and some badass fight sequences (weapons @ the merovingian’s, anyone?). i just finished watching the third film which, contrary to popular belief, actually goes a long way to resolving the entire series and in my opinion, in a way that very much fits with the themes of the first two. oh, and then people complained about trinity’s death sequence taking too long—wtf? its trinity for fuck’s sake! you panzies couldn’t get enough of her in all that leather in the first two movies. what, so now that she’s got a man, and wants to take a whole five minutes to say a proper goodbye, you’re all booin her off the stage?! screw you guys.
c’mon, watch em again, i garauntee you find yourself thinking, "holy shit—was i wrong, this joint is sick!" or ya know, however you’d say it.
today being the last day of my internship at macromedia i feel this is one of those rare occasions that i actually have something to blog about that isnt a one liner that’s a total waste of your time (well, it still might be the latter).
anyway, its been short but sweet, i learned a hell of a lot, more css than you can shake a stick at, and i have to say, its a pretty cool place to work [read: no tps reports]. seeing things from the other side of the fence is a trip, dw development, large-scale site management, its all not so mysterious anymore. plus i met some awesome people along the way who are living proof that not everyone above 21 is a loser. and yes, if youre wondering, the adobe takeover is a direct result of my leaving—something about “needing help with the extra load…”—i dunno. thanks to everyone who made the experience so kick ass, much love.
what? you think ive gone soft on you?! please, i <3 wasting your time
i dont even think this looks good, but its cool to see fps-action on tha big screen
