Anyone else really sad that Conan is leaving? I still remember watching this bit live and peein my pants:

The last episodes have been amazing, some things you may have missed (aka, I wish I was there so bad and got a piece of the set):

And the final sendoff (he cries towards the end)

Fare thee well, sir. 12:35 will never be the same again…

Got sneaked into the Hervé Leger show this weekend (big ups Nao). Yes yes, the clothes were lovely (srsly, they were) but I wont pretend they were more entertaining than watching the skinny redwoods tumble. I gotta see if any of my shots came out (think: dark, crowded, Zoolander).

I’m not one to revel in other’s misfortune (unlike all the residents of haternation on that HuffPost story). I really do feel for the girls, as we discussed later, they have no cushioning on those tuchus’ of theirs and from that height it’s an awful long way to fall. Plus, that can’t be good for your modeling career. Then again—lol.

But the glow of their memories was far too weak, and their thoughts no longer had the clarity of fouteen years earlier. Without a word, they passed each other, disappearing into the crowd. Forever.

three trillion dollar war

In 2003, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld estimated that a war with Iraq would cost $60 billion. Five years later, the cost of Iraq War operations is more than 10 times that figure. By the time the United States leaves Iraq, the estimated total cost of war will be more than $3 trillion.
